The VTeam

Our Volunteer Team (VTeam)

OAC Ministries is serious about obeying the Great Commission. Jesus said,

"Go to people everywhere and make them My disciples . . . and teach them to obey everything I have told you. . ."

So we can go to more people, we have a team of young people who help us regularly as volunteers.

VTeam in Action OAC Ministries trains these young people so they will become better disciples. We teach them to do the things we do, and we take them with us so they can learn from us.

Each year at Christmas, our VTeam work with us at camping grounds on Queensland's Sunshine Coast, conducting Beach Missions. Throughout the June-July and September-October school holidays the VTeam also help in Holiday Outreach Programs.

The Holiday Outreach Programs and Beach Missions are made up of fun programs for primary aged kids, KidZone VTeamer where they learn about Jesus. The Beach Missions also include evening programs for all ages that attract hundreds of campers each night. The programs include drama, music, puppets, inter-action, sketching, and more. Each year, hundreds of people at these programs request bibles or literature that explains more about how they can know Jesus.

This year's Beach Mission will be on the Sunshine Coast. Dates are not yet finalised but will be in the period from 26th December 2010 to 8th January 2011. Updated forms will be posted a little later this year, but contact us if you want to be on the mailing list.
