Our Staff

Wes Fittell

WesFittellWes Fittell has been working with OAC Ministries since 1973.

For most of the 1980’s, Wes and his wife Diane served as missionaries on loan to SEND International in the Philippines. They were involved in evangelism, church planting, and providing training for new missionaries.

In early 1990, they resumed ministry with OAC in Queensland, where Wes now holds the position of State Director.  Wes & Diane are particularly interested in communicating the gospel to people who are not being reached by today’s church.  As part of that, they have developed programs to help and equip ordinary Christians to reach out to their friends and neighbours.

Wes's years of experience at working in open air venues with “non-captive” audiences have given him the ability to hold the attention of large audiences of almost any age.  His use of sketching, visual, interactive communication, and creative use of music make his programs both interesting and entertaining.

Diane received her Graduate Diploma in Education at the University of New England, in Armidale, NSW and works part time as a school teacher.  She teaches Religious Education classes in 3 primary schools, assists in Wes's ministry, and is a capable speaker at special events for women.

Wes & Diane are also keenly involved in missionary work, and serve as Australian representatives of SEND International, a mission working in Asia and Europe.

Wes is available to help the strategic ministry of the church in:
