Shirley was born in Tamworth N.S.W. Moved
to Sydney 1969, then attended oil painting classes at Meadow Bank College
in the seventies.
Shirley discovered watercolour and mixed media a few years later
at Willandra West Ryde Sydney, where she attended watercolour classes
with wonderful tutors; she also attended many workshops with well
known Victorian watercolourists.
Shirley has been a member of Castle Hill Art Society for many years
and has exhibited in Sydney and country areas. Relocated to Brisbane
2004 and has joined the Watercolour Society and several other Brisbane
Art Societies.
