STANDARD TICKET SIZES
Our standard tickets are individual cut tickets with black text
on a lightweight card (140 - 165gsm).
We produce two standard sized tickets which are approximately 125 x 40 mm
(4.92" x 1.57") or 125 x 50mm (4.92" x 1.97") with two "trips" (tear-offs),
one at each end of the ticket (these are generally used for monitary reconcilliation),
but can be used for gathering "names and addresses", conveying further information
or just ignored and information is printed over the perforations. Larger tickets using
the same stock can be produced, the same width but up to 65mm (2.56") high.
These are 14¢, 16¢ and 18¢ each respectively.
STANDARD TICKET TYPES
Standard tickets use either a plain coloured stock or have various colours
fading in from the left and right edges towards the centre
They are "watermarked" with "invisible ink" to produce a cheap but effective
"security" ticket, great for use in nightclubs with "black" or ultraviolet lighting.
RAFFLE
Booklets can be made up of raffle tickets (usually containing 20 tickets),
with your choice of wording and artwork.
Raffle tickets are 8¢ each.
"ADMIT ONE" ROLLS
Rolls of tickets are avaiable (1000 per roll, each ticket is numbered).
These are not available in shops.
These standard stock lines are available: "ADMIT ONE", "ADULT",
"CONCESSION", "CHILD", "FAMILY", "BEER", "SOFT DRINK",
"SPIRIT" and "BAR TICKET".
Other information can be printed, but these could take 3-5 weeks longer to supply
and would incur an additional cost (for artwork and plate production)
of approximately $190 for each new ticket design and $30 for each colour change.
Standard rolls are $12.00 per roll. Specials are $15.00 per roll
ABOUT ARTWORK
All our "normal" tickets consist of black "copy" on a coloured light card (140-165gsm).
We offer no restrictions on the print size, style or on the number of words
you can include on the ticket, we just have to make it fit!.
We can even add a limited number of drawings or logos
(ONLY vector artwork, not bitmapped).
The numbering process has limitations.
No bleeds, in fact, usually about 5mm inside the ticket size.
It can only handle small (in memory) files and only works with Illustrator files
(an old format, up to version 6). Bitmapped files (e,g, TIFF or JPEG files)
may be able to be converted to an outline format so they can be used.
Files for conversion need to be reasonably sharp and preferably black & white,
not coloured or greyscale.
Leave space for numbering, if required.
Non-standard tickets (e.g. in colour, with more complex artwork and odd sizes)
can be produced, but the cost goes up dramatically and so does the time-frame.
