Recycling at St Catherine's
- BATTERIES are one of the most dangerous common waste discarded by Australian households; this includes laptop and mobile phone batteries. Many batteries are made from heavy metals and harmful elements which can pollute soil and water and harm wildlife and humans. To dispose of them safely, batteries can be left in designated bins at:
- Aldi supermarkets - any brand of AA, AAA, C, D and 9V batteries (both rechargeable and non-rechargeable).
- Our local Battery World also accepts batteries.
- Officeworks, along with E-waste, printer/copier toner and cartridges, mobile phones, and pens and markers.
- St Catherine's, Middle Park - If the above methods aren't convenient bring them to church and put in the box provided.
- OTHER ITEMS
- Containers for Change - Thank you to all who have supported the containers for cash scheme by bringing in their bottles and cans.
The new shed is now operating at the rear of the Worship Centre – all containers should now be left in the shed.
Thank you for your support of this worthwhile initiative
