St Catherine's Anglican Community - Centenary Suburbs

Art Group

Every Friday from 9.00am until noon, a group of interested people meet to draw and paint together in the church hall. The average number in attendance is about 14, sometimes more, with 20 people on the books!
New people are welcome, whether experienced artists or beginners.

There are 3 key artists who, with varying degrees of expertise, can guide you in watercolour painting, acrylics, oil, graphite drawing, pen and ink or colour pencil.

If you feel you cannot draw, then trace your subject and learn the different techniques involved using various media.

In recent years we have produced a very successful calendar, with an item of everyone’s work, which is available for sale to the parishioners and the wider community.

The small charge for attendance is $7 for the use of the church hall.
Tuition and a yummy morning tea are FREE!

Contact: Lynda Young on 0418797788 or Rosemary Kenn 37158081 just to notify us of your arrival so we can bring materials if you do not have any.
