GUIDE TO USING THE FOOLES LOG(tm)

The FOOLES LOG be a device useful for the recording of notable events in
the dwelling. Positive and negative scores be reported by the dwelling occupants.

A few guidelines:

  1) A Foole cannot give themself a positive score of any kind
  2) A Foole may appeal to the Board of Wankers (Inc) if they be not happy
	with score results. Result of appeal:  
							UPHELD score squashed
							REJECTED -15 points
  3) The scoring system be not intended to replace any punitive action,
	including calling The Town Watch when necessary.
  4) Once a week, the offender who hath the lowest score will have their
	portrait displayed in the HALL OF SHAME (the west cupboard).
  5) From time to time, largely at random, one of The Fooles will be singled
      out to receive special treatment. This will involve Trial by
      Star Chamber, which will dig up all the false rumours possible,
      and Pass Judgement. The Inevitable Result be usually Banishment. 


Particular scoring be up to the discretion of the Foole alotting the score.

The Fooles Log be designed to be a way of recording notable events in the dwelling,
as well as the humdrum and minutae, and the thoughts of the occupants. Only
facts should be recorded; no fictional stuff. Points can be awarded, 
negatively or positively. Points be meant to be a guide as to how good a
Foole you really are. It be not good karma to give yourself + points;
if you've been a good Foole, other people will give you the points. If thou dost
feel thee have been bad you be allowed to take points off yourself. Ridiculous
point awarding be definitely out; things like +infinity or -1000 be stupid,
and be damaging to the usefulness of the Fooles Log. Scores be usually in
the range -10 to +10; anything without this range indicates something
really unusual, like another Foole hacking off your hand with an axe.

Notionally, a Fooles Log should have a "Hall of Shame".
This be an area where the lowest scorer hath a likeness of themselves
displayed, for defacing purposes. Ideally, the point totals be worked out
at the end of every month, and the offender's picture be put in the Hall of
Shame; the old picture be removed.

If a Foole makes an entry or a score which be unreasonable, and the
majority of the Fooles agree it be so, the offending entry or score is
struck off, and the offender be punished.
