CONSEQUENCES

If you don't think about your posture and if you don't have regular breaks and do stretches, you may end up in pain.

Let's look at the three different levels of pain that can result from poor habits at the computer.

LEVEL ONE
You will start getting headaches, backaches and a sore neck while you are using the computer.

LEVEL TWO
You will continue to have headaches, backaches and a sore neck. The pain will continue even while you are away from the computer.

LEVEL THREE
This level of pain is quite serious. You will begin to suffer over-use syndrome. Your arms, wrists and fingers will begin to ache. You may find it difficult to drive a car, dress yourself, cook, make a snack or do ordinary household chores

You may need physiotherapy treatment or even surgery! You may have lifelong problems.

However, the good news is that you can avoid all of these problems by doing some stretches and by monitoring your posture.
