Well Shirleyphiles...yours truly is in a total birthday whirl! And there's more on the horizon! Gag me with a spoon! After last week's birthday tribute to Di Ball, la Shirl is following it up with a very special birthday show for one of my all time favourite gals and frog spotter extraordinaire...the lovely Lisa Smith! Happy Birthday Girlfriend! *smooch* In Lisa's honour I've gathered together a few tunes I'd like to dedicate....I will deal with the repercussions later ...hehe... and a few artistes I know that she is rather fond of...So in this week's show you'll be bopping to Nina Hagen, Siouxsie and the Banshees, Railroad Gin, Lou Reed, Bjork, The Shangri-Las, Queen, Roxy Music, The Runaways, Joni Mitchell and peppered throughout some curious sound bytes from Joyce Grenfell and a cast of unknowns...lol...
