Well I don't know about you Pretty Things but this old glitter gal has got herself all in a lather again about David Bowie. Why you may ask? Well you may ask away. Around this time 30 years ago Shirley's MainMan..**I'm just a space cadet..he's the commander**...released "The Rise and Fall of Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders From Mars" at the ripe old age of 25!!...a time when yours truly had just started getting to know her training bra on first name terms...lol....and to mark the occasion, the Ziggy album has been re-released! I am on the verge of having a Big Kev moment and you don't want to see that...believe me.........so this week for your aural delictation....

I've gathered a few personal Bowie faves/curiousities for this show which also includes a couple of tracks from the Queen of the Hop himself and Bowie comprade, the late Marc Bolan.....fellow glamsters, Roxy Music and wanna-be 70's glam slammers The Sweet and Gary Glitter slip their silver jumpsuits into the mix....I just couldn't help myself....oh yes I know the Goddess is going to send me to sequin Hell for that...and I don't care :P

So Shirleyphiles, it's time to turn up your speakers for another 30 minutes of LOW-FI lovliness, tear down those velvet drapes, fashion something Kabuki-esque, paint on a glorious space-face and prance your blessed hearts out to this week's salute to Ziggy............*smooches* Shirley
