She's baaaaaaaaaack! Here once more to tickle your Shirley's with
a handbag full of tunes in honour of beloved Shirleyphile, Lynne's
big sister, Mary! Happy Birthday M!
Now we haven't met the lovely Mary here before in Chez Shirley,
but if she's anything like her little sister, she's no doubt very
special. I mean look at that gorgeous photo circa'79 with Mary
on the left and Lynne on the right! A couple of all American girls
all fired up and who look like they're ready to hit the road ...
Can't you just see them tearing around in a car, laughing like
a couple of big girls and tuning the radio dial to something sooper
cool like The Moody Blues? .... and what fabulous outfits they're
wearing for the photo op! I'm like ... green, like this page!

So
Mary, in a spasm of sisterly generosity, la Shirl with the help
of Lynne (aka Chaiscout to her precious circle) has rummaged for
a few favourites and put together this birthday dedication just
for your big Hawaii 5-0! ... and of course for the multitude of
Shirleyphiles everywhere! We've had a ball doing it!
So get out your crystal sets, my low-fi luvverlies and fill your
tumblers with so much Kool-Aid that you'll be bouncing on a sugar
high for days! Top up those gas tanks groovers as we hit the road
with the birthday girl of the moment! ... Mary!
and remember kids, don't forget to check under the hood!
