29|3|05 :::: "We're Just Space Cadets - Chaiscout's the Commander!" - OFFLINE

Greetings again Shirleyphiles and yes ... They've let me out of detox for this very special occasion ... well ... "let out" is not quite the correct terminology ... let's say I broke out ... hid myself beneath the weekly washing that gets shipped out of this Security Centre for the Outrageous because mr. Kenneth sms'd me that it was the gorgeous Chaiscout's birthday! And you know how your favourite internet radio hostess just can't let a significant birthday go by without some kind of low-fi celebration streaming over the internet waves.

For those of you not in the know, the divine Chaiscout is a much adored member of mr. Kenneth's most favourite of online communities - BowieAudio. It's just chokkas with some of the most fabulous people my faithful manservant has had the pleasure of exchanging pleasantries with for some time - and Chaiscout has just got to be there amongst the very peak - dare I say pinnacle - I could go as far as saying zenith - I could even go on to say "She's the Top"! (in joke there for a certain tasteful and conspiratorial group ... all will be revealed in months to come ;)

So, as I just heard of this momentous occasion, having only arrived back at Chez Shirley in time to have the manservant mix me a welcome home Martini, I've had mr.Kenneth working his fingers to the bone pulling down this, that and the other from the Audio Tower of Babel that is his collection to put this rather hurried, but certainly eclectic grab bag of tasteful tunes together in honour of the one and only Chaiscout. Apart from lusting after David Bowie, I'm really not too sure of her divine Chaiscout's other musical loves ... so I've played it safe for once and gone as the lovely Marie Osmond would say - " a little bit country" and dare I say it ... included artists of a certain ... ermm ... vintage.

So Shirleyphiles ... get ready for another dose of low-fi lovliness ... push back the scatter rugs ... pull that kaftan over your head ... move the cat out of harm's way ... pour yourself something suitably bubbly in honour of laShirl's girl of the moment ... her ultimate in kindness ... the divine Chaiscout!

A big sloppy *mwah* from me and an even sloppier one (when will mr. Kenneth learn to put his teeth back in before smooching!) from mr. Kenneth.
