PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING CONDITIONS OF USE

You are very welcome to the Green House and The Keep and to the full use of their facilities for the enjoyment of your holidays. It would be greatly appreciated if you could ensure that the property is well cared for by yourself and your guests. The following requirements are for safety, to comply with local laws and to maintain good neighbour policy.

1. OVERCROWDING

The maximum number of people permitted for residence is 8.

2. PETS

PETS ARE NOT ALLOWED

3. Whale Watch Tower and Roof

Caution is required on the steps to the whale watch tower. The stairs to the Green House whale watch are steep and children must be supervised in the towers at all times. The whale watch tower gates may be closed to prevent unsupervised access by small children. However, house gates are not child proof and parents may wish to add extra security.

It is a good idea to bring a hammock which can be tied to the posts in the tower.

Warning: Climbing onto the roof of the property is prohibited for obvious safety reasons and to prevent roof damage. Personal injury caused by an individual’s negligence, such as climbing onto the roof is not covered by insurance and negates the basis of any compensation claim.

4. Excessive noise

Enjoy your holiday by all means, but please reduce noise by 10PM. Crowding the premises and partying, excessive noise and loud swearing are not permitted and will result in the termination of the rental.

5. Damage to property, equipment and fittings

Please take care of the property. Damage must be paid for where negligence or carelessness is involved. We would appreciate your advice should damage occur so that it can be rectified.

6. Baby safety gates

Provision has been made to facilitate child safety on the decks to assist adult supervision.

A baby gate is provided in the main bedroom wardrobe of the Green House that can be slotted into the guide rails at the top of the upper deck stairs. There are permanent safety gates on the stairs that can be used to assist in preventing stair accidents to children but they are not child proof. On any high set premises it is prudent to keep chairs away from verandah rails where children are playing.

7. Surfboards

Please leave surfboards under the house. If they must be secured, please place them on the lower deck only to prevent damage to property.

8. Smoking

Please smoke on the decks only and use the ashtrays provided.

9. Garbage disposal

PLEASE PUT THE BINS OUT ON SUNDAY AS GARBAGE DISPOSAL IS A MAJOR PROBLEM ON THE ISLAND.
