The Queensland Branch of the Australian Breastfeeding Association operates four Breastfeeding Helplines in the state. Access to these Helplines is free to all mothers. Non-subscribers will be encouraged to subscribe in order to support our services and the promotion of breastfeeding. 

The Helplines are operated by voluntary breastfeeding counsellors, mothers with busy life styles, whilst the service is available 24 hours a day, please only ring after hours in cases of urgency. 

Some Helplines will ask you to ring the counsellor on call, others will divert you instantly to the Counsellor on call. Please have a pen handy in case you need to call another number.
