About Us
Watercolour Society of Queensland Inc was formed in 1986.

It has supported and encouraged the use of a wonderful medium of watercolour for the past 20 Years.
our aims
The aims of the Society are to:
  • promote participation in watercolour painting;
  • stage exhibitions to encourage greater appreciation and acquisition of watercolours by the public;
  • foster relations and exchanges with interstate artists and art societies; and
  • provide facilities and resources for members to meet and pursue these aims.


Membership
There are three categories of membership:
  • ordinary members (painting members with voting rights);

  • associate members (non-painting members with no voting rights);
  • junior members (persons over 12 and under 18 years with no voting rights).


Membership fees consist of
a joining fee of $15 and an annual subscription of $55. The associate or junior annual subscription is $20 (all fees include GST).
