One of my favourite cases - ground floor.

The damaged crystalline limestone head of generalissimo Nakhtmin would
have formed part of a double statue with his wife's figure which is at right.
Provenance unknown; bought around 1897.
New Kingdom - late 18th Dynasty.

Left: Nakhtmin's head, height - 34 cm.
Right: Nakhtmin's wife, height - 85 cm.
Unfortunately we don't know the name of Nakhtmin's
wife who is shown wearing a very heavy wig.
